Maria Sharapova’s admission that she tested positive for the use of a performance enhancing drug at the Australian Open has reopened the debate over the place of doping in sport.

To discuss the ethics of doping and other performance enhancing practices, Sean Britten spoke to Professor Julian Savulescu, Uehiro Chair in Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford.
