The Fabulous Genevieve Lemon

Genevieve Lemon, a darling of Sydney theatre, joins Regina to talk about her life as an actor.

From TV to film to theatre, Genevieve is one of the darlings of the Sydney theatre scene. She’s been in everything from The Young doctors and Prisoner to the Secret River and Rake on TV. Her film credits range from Sweetie to Holy Smoke, The Dressmaker and Ladies in Black.  

And theatre – which is what we are here to talk about this evening with Steaming…in the 80’s she has won multiple awards for Billy Elliott the musical- in 90’s. I have seen her in many productions including  Belvoir’ s Death of a Salesman and  A Taste of Honey and one of my all time favorite roles – Martha in Edward Albee’s –Who’s afraid of Virginia Woolf at the Ensemble to name just a few.
