The Federal Budget: Australian Nurses

This year nurses have finally been recognized in the Federal Budget, unlike last year. The predicted shortfall of 80 000 nurses by 2025 is important to address. We spoke to the Australian College of Nursing CEO, Adjunct Professor, Kylie Ward who gave us her insight into this field of the Budget. Ward mentions the tangible impact she feels will only cover a small component of the problem and reminds us “nurses aren’t a number.”
