The Race Reporting Handbook: improving media representation

The Australian Human Rights Commission along with Media Diversity Australia, has launched the Race Reporting Handbook to address misrepresentation and stereotyping of racial communities in media.  The handbook highlights the role of journalists in shaping racial narratives and provides tools for newsrooms to combat inequity in reporting.
