The Radical Empowerment of Reas – 2025 Antenna Film Fest

Antenna is an annual documentary film festival, established in 2011 with the mission to promote, celebrate and champion creative documentary cinema as one of the most exciting means by which we can connect to the contemporary world.

This year’s festival opened with with Reas, the latest feature from acclaimed Argentine filmmaker Lola Arias. This bold documentary-musical hybrid brings together cis and trans women to re-enact their experiences of incarceration through music and performance.

Lola joined 2SER Breakfast to discuss her work. Following a successful opening night, a repeat screening of Reas will take place at 8:30 pm Fri 14 February at the Dendy Newtown. Tickets are available here.
