Loneliness is tough to handle, well, on your own. Especially for those living by themselves. Research shows that older private renters are at high risk of loneliness and anxiety. This has worrying implications for their health, physically and emotionally.

Involved in this research is Alan Morris, Professor from the Institute of Public Policy and Governance, University of Technology Sydney. The Daily spoke to Alan about the loneliness some older people face due to private housing.
