Toby Walsh’s Six Ideas you need to understand AI

We spoke with Toby Walsh, a world leading researcher into Artificial Intelligence, recipient of the Humbolt Research award and Professor of AI at UNSW, who’ll be speaking at the 2025 Sydney Writers festival about his ‘Six ideas you need to understand AI’. We chatted about his involvement in researching and detailing the responsible use of AI, his position of being banned from Russia, and discussed his talk on the 22nd of May.
