Trigger Warnings In Australian Cultural Institutions

Originally, trigger warnings were meant to notify an audience of potentially distressing material to minimise any risk of re-traumatising the viewer. The term has very quickly taken on an unfortunate connotation in popular culture as a broad censorship device used to prevent productive dialogue and debate.

On this episode of Glam City, Tamson (@cap_and_gown) discusses trigger warnings in our cultural institutions with Breann Fallon(@Bre_Fallon), Holocaust Educator at the Sydney Jewish Museum.
