Tropical Thunderstorms to grow as the world gets warmer

We’ve all witnessed the spectacle of Thunderstorms; Rainfall, lightning and amidst the deafening sound thunder, spectacular cloud formations. Despite all of this, thunderstorms; more specifically, severe thunderstorms, have impacts on humans and ecosystems. Therefore, it’s important to ask whether Thunderstorms will grow in frequency as the Earth warms due to  climate change and other factors. Lecturer in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment, Dr Martin Singh from Monash University joined the Monday Daily to discuss this and more.
