Uncovering Our Ancestor’s Social Lives By Examining Gibbon and Siamang Skulls

Recent research has shown that the structure of gibbon and siamang is influenced by the social interactions between males of those species. Deeper scrutiny into this area could reveal the social history of our ancestors through the study of their skulls.
