Vivid Live announcement. Curator, Ben Marshall, reveals all

As Vivid enters it’s 8th year and with their line-up announcements yesterday, there is little wonder it is recognised as the world’s largest festival of light, music and ideas! The festival draws massive crowds year on year so this year, Vivid has been extended by 50%! Yes, one extra week has been added to the festival to give more people a chance to attend.

The festival is now getting worldwide attention and judging by the line-up attracted to this year’s festival, including Bjork, New Order, Bon Iver, Esperanza Spalding, Hiatus Kaiyote & Tiny Ruins, it seems that it’s able to attract some awesome talent.

Ben Marshall, Head of contemporary music at Opera House & curator of Vivd live, joined Mitch to talk about the announcement.
