Voting: Online or In Person?

We’ve all rocked up to our local community centre or school to vote in political elections, but could these be a thing of the past? Online voting sites like iVote have been around for a little while, but soon we could be seeing a whole lot more of them. However, would online voting make our elections too vulnerable to hackers? And more importantly, what would happen to the democracy sausage? Tess chatted to Tom Sear from UNSW Canberra Cyber’s Australian Defence Force Academy to find out whether widespread online voting is a real possibility for Australia.
