Why Are Hospital Wait Times So Long?

Western Sydney hospitals have been reported to be experiencing a jump in emergency department waiting times recently, with the latest Bureau of Health Information (BHI) report showing that Westmead Hospital’s Emergency Department treating only 4 in 10 patients were treated on time.
