Warnings Released For ‘To The Bone’, Netflix’s Latest Release

Netflix has yet again fallen into hot water with headspace, with the mental health organisation releasing a content warning after the trailer for Netflix’s new feature film To The Bone came out recently. The film follows the story of a young girl battling anorexia nervosa, as well as depicting a range of other disorders, which has led the mental health organisation as well as the Butterfly Foundation, an organisation dedicated to supporting those battling eating disorders and negative body image to issue warnings about said depictions.

The Daily discussed with Christine Morgan, CEO of The Butterfly Foundation, about how these depictions could affect survivors as well as how it could sway our view of eating disorders.
