Waste to Art

The average Australian is responsible for creating over 2,000kgs of waste every year, and it’s becoming more and more important for us to reduce our waste and impact on the environment.

One council sought to spread awareness and make it fun and exciting.

City of Ryde’s 10th Annual Sustainable Waste to Art Prize is an initiative aimed at encouraging residents to be more waste conscious by engaging them to make art and win a prize for it.
