We Can’t Say We Didn’t Know: Covering The Middle East As A Foreign Correspondent

Sophie McNeill is an award-winning investigative reporter and former Middle East correspondent for the ABC. She now works for 4 Corners and has just released a book titled We Can’t Say We Didn’t Know.

In the book she tells the stories of people she met while working across the world – from political activists in Syria to Rahaf Mohammed Alqunun’s escape from Saudi Arabia.

Sophie joined Drive host Mick Rad in the studio to speak about her new book and the lessons she learnt while working as a foreign correspondent.
