We keep seeing water resistant phones but why aren’t they waterproof?

Technology only keeps advancing and while we have hardware to make partial water resistant smartphones the question leads to why aren’t they completely waterproof? For those who may drop their phone in the toilet, take their phone to the beach or get caught up in the rain this story is for you. However be careful because these big companies don’t even support water damage in their warranties! We spoke to Dr Ritesh Chugh, Associate Professor – Information and Communications Technology, CQUniversity Australia to discuss why we don’t have completely waterproof phones in this day in age!
