Welcome to “Originate”
“Originate” or “Chorus” is a show which is about to be put on by Q Theatre in Penrith for emerging artists in the greater Sydney region. Sporting a cast of 9 young performers, the show is a devised piece which is conceived, built, directed and performed in just over 8 short weeks. Today on the Drive, we went out to the Joan Sutherland Performance Centre in Penrith to talk with the Director and Associate Artist of Q theater, Shy Magsalin.
Joining Shy is Luisa Galloway, one of the Cast members of “Originate” who walked us through the process of how a show like this comes to be created.
The show will be performed from the 19th-21st of may in the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre.
