What does it mean to be Australian?

Modern Australia is constantly evolving, and so are the questions we need to ask about our national identity.

72 Voices is a book-sized report that provides a snapshot of Australia from the perspective of 72 cultural makers, shapers and commentators from a range of backgrounds, ages and ethnicities.

It asks us what it means to be a modern Australian, the changing nature of multiculturalism, and what’s in store for the future of Australia.

The project is available for free online and was put together by 72 and Sunny, a creative agency of which Mollie Hill is a director of strategy.
