What Is A Sotonian? With Lord Mayor Valerie Laurent

On Tuesday 19th December The Tuesday Daily ceased to exist and The Mayor Show took it’s place. Covering all things mayors, the show will live on in history as the only time in Australian radio history that 3 hours of air time were dedicated purely to mayors (and also weather and traffic updates).

 

Joining The Mayor Show all the way from Southampton in England is Lord Mayor Valerie Laurent! This is a huge get for the show as Valerie is the only Lord Mayor to agree to speak to us and also the only mayor who has been seen wearing those fun robes and hats. Unfortunately for the website, we forgot to get a picture over Zoom while we spoke, so an artists recreation has been used instead.
