What Julian Assange’s case means for journalism and press freedom

It has been two weeks since Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has been freed after pleading guilty to a single charge of breaching the espionage law in the United States.

Questions have been raised around the future of journalists and whistle-blowers.

The Wire’s contributor, Jahan Rezakhanlou, speaks with media ethics expert Dr Dennis Muller from Melbourne University, on whether Julian Assange was ever a real journalist.
