Where were you we we said Yes?

The results from postal vote on marriage equality came out today, and it was a landslide YES! 62% of Australian’s voted yes, while 38% voted against. It’s a huge win for equality here in Australia, and with almost 80% of Aussie’s returning their votes, it’s also had one of the highest responses on record for a non-compulsory vote worldwide.

To celebrate, we had Katie Acheson from Youth Action NSW on the show to talk about what this result means, what happens next, and why young people played such an integral role in this campaign.
