Why Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women Should Be Leading the Change to End Violence Against Women

What first began in the U.S. as a protest of Donald Trump’s election campaign rhetoric, has grown into a global rally for intersectional equality.

This year, around 5000 people took to the streets of Sydney for The Women’s March to highlight critical issues that disproportionately affect women in Australia.

With the spotlight shining on violence against women, the speakers zeroed in on the need for more diverse representation amongst the change-makers.
