Are Politicians No Longer Held Accountable?

Politicians all around Australia are behaving in ways that are unethical and dangerous towards the community such as the RobboDebt scandal and more recently Darryl Maguire using his public office to personally benefit himself and others close to him such as NSW premier Gladys Berejeklian. It seems that  politicians recent successes in managing larger national and international issues such as the Coronavirus and the bushfire crisis means that they can neglect internal issues. This begs the question as to whether politicians are looking after the broader interest of the country or themselves. Dr. Stewart Jackson joined us earlier.
