Why be grand when you can be glam: the Australian Open’s ‘Glam Slam’

The Australian tennis season is in full swing. But what might be more exciting than the Australian Open (AO), is the Australian Open’s Glam Slam. The Glam Slam is the only LGBTQI+ tennis tournament played as part of a grand slam event anywhere in the world. From January 25th-27th, 180 competitors from 14 countries will play in the Open’s Glam Slam tournament. Tournament director Rowen D’Souza joined Sean Haztinikolaou on 2SER Breakfast to discuss this upcoming event.
