Will Australia Ever Give Up Uber?

Uber is a convenient and affordable transport service for those opting away from public transport and catching a taxi. Australia was introduced to the ride service booking app back in 2012. However, recently after headlines emerged about workplace sexism, intellectual property lawsuits and bad corporate behaviour, Uber’s Chief Executive Travis Kalanick has resigned. The question lies, with board members set to be leaving, will Australian users follow suit and jump ship?

Rohan Miller, the Senior Lecturer at University of Sydney Business School, joins Brooke Taylor to discuss Uber’s situation.
