Will Sydney’s Housing Ever Be Affordable?

Sydney is definitely not the cheapest place to call home. Breaking into the property market can be frustrating, but being confined by a mortgage or just trying to make rent this week is a battle for many of us.

So, why is housing in Sydney so unattainable? AND What needs to change to make it affordable to have a home in Sydney?

The Sydney Architecture Festival is asking just that with this year’s theme ‘Making. Housing.Affordable’.

The festival will feature seminars, film screenings, sketching workshops even a kayak tour through Sydney’s most unaffordable housing.
