Women Battling the Scrutiny of the Political Arena

It is no secret that women in politics are scrutinised, criticised and even harassed in their chosen line of work. In this very public position, the media can act as an instrument to deter women from entering the political arena at all. We spoke with Medha Majumdar from the School of Politics and International Relations from The Australian National University to discuss how we can better support and encourage our young women to enter into the political field.
