Women in comedy & the Sydney Fringe Festival

It’s a hard gig being a comic and it can be even harder if you’re a woman.

At the Melbourne Comedy Festival last year only 19% of shows featured women, which displays the extent of the disparity in the industry.

With the Sydney Fringe Festival kicking off next week, Maddie H W joined The Daily host Adrian Walton to speak about her experiences as a comic and her new one-woman show in the Sydney Fringe Festival next week.
