Woy Woy Waterfront Scandal

The Peninsula community is in an uproar after the 1100 square metres of crown land located at the Woy Woy waterfront was sold for a bargain $38 000. The sale of this land has come under recent controversy following the reveal that the Government advertised the land in the Batemans Bay newspaper, over 380 km away from the Central Coast suburb of Woy Woy. This has prompted an investigation conducted by the Independent Commission Against Corruption.
