Young Hobart Scientist Returns from Antarctic Expedition

Five young people have just arrived home from an incredible expedition, a trip to Antarctica. Young representatives from the five gateway Antarctic Cities in New Zealand, South Africa, Chile, Argentina, and Australia were brought together to deepen the connection between the cities.

Australia’s representative is young scientist Chloe Power from Hobart. Chloe has a master’s degree in marine and Antarctic science and is currently a research assistant at the Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies. The Weekend Breakfast Show spoke with Chloe Power about her two-week expedition.

We spoke with the lead researcher from the Western Sydney University Professor Juan Salazar about the expedition earlier this month you can listen to it here.
