Young People at the Front of Sydney’s Writers Festival

The Sydney Writer’s Festival is underway until the 22nd of May.

And where does our reading journey begin? It’s when we are young! So it’s no surprise that events for children and young people are an important part of the program.

Amelia Lush is the head of programming for children and YA at Sydney’s Writers Festival . Amelia, talked to 2ser’s Liz Giuffre about how the YA Programming works.

This includes author talks for YA and children’s work of course, but also panels led by young readers who can shape conversations.
