Yours, Mine & Femme! Ep. 13 Gender Gap – the impact of COVID-19 on the workforce

There’s no denying, the impact of COVID-19 on the workforce is gendered. Women are overrepresented in insecure work and the sectors hit the hardest by the pandemics such as hospitality, retail, tourism, arts. In a letter to the Commonwealth Women’s Ministerial, ACTU states the crisis is likely to widen the gap and lock women out of the workforce for many years to come.
