Movie: Marty Supreme
As Oscar season is coming around, you may have heard buzz about this movie. Marty Supreme, directed by Josh Safdie of the Safdie Brothers, follows fictional table tennis player Marty Mauser (played by Timothee Chalamet) in his quest to become world champion, a dream that people don’t respect.

Movie: The Secret Agent
Another Oscar nominated film, The Secret Agent is a Portuguese language neo-noir film that follows a former professor (played by Wagner Moura) caught in the political turmoil of a Brazilian military dictatorship and attempting to flee persecution and resist an authoritarian regime.

Television: The Lowdown
An American crime comedy drama series starring Ethan Hawke as a self proclaimed ‘truthstorian’ (citizen journalist) who’s obsession with the truth keeps getting him into trouble. When a recent publication of his on a powerful family – the Washbergs – is immediately followed by the suicide of Dale Washberg, he begins investigating Dale’s widow, Betty Jo (played Jeanne Tripplehorn).

Album: Secret Love – Dry Cleaning
The third album by this London post-punk band began production back in 2024, before the group changed producers from John Parish to Welsh musician Cate Le Bon. On this album, the band continue with the post-punk style that defined their earlier work, combined with lead singer Florence Shaw’s unique fusion of spoken word delivery and sung vocals. It has a unique sound and angular guitar work.
